Overview

Cheaty Mapstone connects Waystones with Xaero's World Map: open the world map and travel straight to every waystone you have already activated, to every sharestone and to your last death location. The trip uses Waystones' own teleport – with its rules for dimensions and leashed animals, with sound and particles, but without cooldown and without XP cost (the server can set its own cooldown).

Waystones that don't have a waypoint yet, and all sharestones, get their own markers on the map. New players receive a Sharestone the first time they join a world – place it, name it, and your base is reachable from the map at any time.

Double-click travel

Double-click a waystone waypoint, a Mapstone marker or the death point – and you're there.

Right-click menu

Right-clicking a waystone waypoint offers “Mapstone: Travel to …”. On an empty spot of the map the menu lists the nearest destinations with distance (default: 3 destinations within 256 blocks).

Own markers

W = waystone (turquoise), S = sharestone (purple, or in its colour), X = last death location (red). Hover over a marker to see its name.

Last death location

Travels to the place Minecraft saved as your last death – in other dimensions too. If the spot is in lava, inside a block or in the Void, the mod looks for a safe spot above it.

Fair rules

Waystones only if you have activated them; sharestones are open to everyone – just like in Waystones itself.

Starter sharestone

Every player gets a sharestone once, the first time they join a world.

Controls

If the mod isn't running on the server, the map stays completely normal – Mapstone then shows no markers and no menu entries.

Settings

Every option can be changed in game: Mods → Xaero's Cheaty Mapstone → Config (via Kobase Core). Server options apply to all players; client options are set by each player – options marked lockable can be fixed by the server for everyone.

Built for the versions in both modpacks: Waystones 14.1.4 and 14.1.21, Xaero's World Map 1.38.8 and 1.46.0. Waystone waypoints from Xaero's Minimap, XaeroPlus or Xaero waystones addons are recognised.
