Kobase Traders
Traders exactly the way you want them: any look – creature, player skin or villager –, your own trades, shop areas, routes and opening hours, all set up in game with the Trader Wand.
Overview
With the Trader Wand you place traders wherever you like and set them up in an editor with four tabs: Appearance, Trades, Behaviour and Presets. A 3D preview turns on the right; every change shows up at once – in the preview and on the trader in the world.
Trading happens in Minecraft's normal trading screen: paying, shift-clicking and a full inventory work exactly like with villagers.
Any look
Any creature from vanilla and mods (with search and live preview, colours and variants for many animals), a player skin by name or UUID, or a villager with biome, profession and badge. Plus size 0.5–2, name and title line.
Your own trades
Price, second price and goods are free to choose – with amount and NBT (enchantments, names). Per trade: stock or unlimited, trader XP, price factor, demand, special price and trade level.
Restock & levels
Stock refills never, daily at a set time, every n minutes or like villagers. Optionally, trades unlock level by level.
Behaviour
Stand and look at players, wander in an area around the home point or follow a route of waypoints (loop or there and back, with pauses).
Opening hours
From–to, also across midnight. Outside them the trader shows “Closed · opens 08:00”, goes home, or goes home and sleeps. A greeting of up to 4 lines as a card, in chat or both.
Presets & templates
Save, load and share your own presets as JSON. Ready-made role templates: blacksmith, baker, farmer, librarian, cartographer, bank, jeweller, animal dealer, wandering trader mix and Kobase Shop.
Safe for servers
Invulnerable and persistent (configurable), not pushable. The server checks every input: permissions, limits, deny lists for items and models, NBT size.

Controls
| Input | Effect |
|---|---|
| Right-click a block with the Trader Wand | place a new trader and open the editor (permission needed) |
| Sneak + right-click a trader with the wand | open the editor |
| Right-click a trader | trade |
| Editor → Behaviour → Route → Record | the editor closes; right-clicking blocks adds waypoints, Sneak + right-click into the air finishes recording |
| Editor → Behaviour → Home With wand | the next block you click becomes the home point |
| Editor: Apply / Done / Cancel | send to the server / send and close / discard |
The server decides who may place and edit traders (by default operators and players in creative mode; whoever placed a trader may always edit it). An invulnerable trader can only be removed in the editor or with /kill.
